Open Arms started as a newsletter to document our experience of navigating fertility treatment as a same-sex couple.

The aim was always to tell stories beyond our own; to offer a safe, accessible, educational, inclusive and impartial platform that helps queer people to start families.

We want for Open Arms to become a safe space for LGBTQ+ people to learn where to start: from where they can access treatment to how to inject for the first time.

We hope to help queer people find their place in a system that is built to exclude them; and to redefine fertility and family.
